Wi-LAN can monetize your inventions in the following ways:

1. Wi- LAN will purchase the rights under your approved patents or patentable technologies.
2. Wi-LAN will act as a licensing agent for your approved patents or patentable technologies with both you and
   Wi-LAN sharing in the licensing revenues generated.
3. Wi-LAN will consider approved patents or patentable technologies as consideration for a license to the Wi-LAN portfolio.
4. Other partnership deal structures or combination deal structures are also possible.

Patentable technology includes issued patents, patent applications or, in some cases, even ideas that have not entered the patent process. Wi-LAN brings to the partnership its extensive experience in the patent process; including patent writing, identifying primary jurisdictions and defending the patent.
