OFDM Forum Attracts New Members from Around the World

Five New Members Join Initiative to Create Worldwide OFDM Standard

With only one week until its second quarterly meeting, the OFDM Forum is pleased to announce the addition of five new member organizations to its rapidly growing roster.

New Small Business Members are SiWorks Inc., DKS Signalverarbeitung GmBH, 4G Network Technologies Inc. and Communications Services International, Inc. (CSI); ioWave, Inc. has joined as an Associate Member.

Membership entitles new OFDM Forum members full participation in the organization's second quarterly meeting, to be held in Calgary, Canada July 13 - 15, 2000. There, attendees will address wireless communications and technology issues such as interoperability between market segments, harmonized standards and spectrum allocations, specifically related to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology.

About the OFDM Forum's July Meeting:
The OFDM Forum's July meeting will take place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from July 13 - 15, 2000. The meeting will combine plenary seminars and working group sessions designed to provide delegates the opportunity to share developments in OFDM technology and products. Forum working groups (Fixed Wireless Access Group, Wireless LAN Group and Wireless Road Access Group) will also share progress reports with the Forum-at-large. To date, 77 people are registered for the July meeting, representing 46 companies from around the world.
