CALGARY, Canada - December 8, 2005 - Wi-LAN Inc. (TSX:WIN) expects to release consolidated results for the three months and twelve months ended October 31, 2005 on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Wi-LAN will hold a conference call to discuss the 2005 consolidated results ½ hour after their release, on December 14 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Eastern time (3:30 p.m. Calgary time).
