Fiscal 2002 Conference Call Scheduled for November 7

(CALGARY, Canada - November 4, 2002) - Wi-LAN Inc. (TSE:WIN), a global provider of broadband wireless communications products and technologies, today announced that revenue results for the three months and twelve months ended October 31, 2002 and financial guidance for the twelve months ended October 31, 2003 will be released on November 6, 2002 after the market close.
