Cory Houston

Cory Houston is responsible for overseeing market analysis for all of
Wi-LAN’s IP commercialization activities and patent acquisitions, including royalty assessments, market sizing, and competitive analysis. Cory is also active in licensing Wi-LAN’s V-chip Portfolio.
Prior to joining Wi-LAN in July 2006, Cory worked in the equity research department of a boutique investment bank covering small- and mid-cap technology companies. This was preceded by an eight year career at Nortel Networks where he held progressively senior positions in the R&D and patent organizations.
Cory received a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Queen's University. Cory has been awarded the P.Eng. designation from Professional Engineers Ontario and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
